KilletSoft provides a tutorial for modelling NTv2 files from identical points in different geodetic reference systems. An example is used to explain in detail how a highly accurate NTv2 file can be generated using low-cost software. The focus here is on the aspect of economic efficiency. The configuration and workflow of the software used are described in a comprehensible manner. The working paper is intended to enable professionals in the field of geodesy and surveying to generate NTv2 files for high accuracy coordinate transformations and datum shifts for their area of responsibility using their own resources.
