Test version / Full version
GeoDLL is marketed in different versions. There is a test version (Shareware version) and a full version. The test version offers the opportunity to try the working but limited DLL upon its usability and usefulness. The test version allows you to address your requirements and helps you to test its solution. The test version can be downloaded for free from many Internet web sites.
GeoDLL exists after the installation first as a test version. For a short time (and a few exceptions) all functions of the DLL can be used unlimited after start of your application. This is sufficient for testing the effectiveness of DLL functions and DLL ability. After the time run, further function calls are not more possible. For further tests a new run or the application for further tests is necessary.
Only after detailed tests the user can transform the DLL by calling a function with the purchased unlock keys for the necessary function groups to the full version. This way you will avoid the situation of getting stuck with the software that does not live up to your expectation. The "test before you buy" approach saves you from the "cat in a bag" aggravation so common with some commercial software! You are encouraged to pass the test version of GeoDLL to other persons without any restrictions!
Unlocking
In order to use the functions of the DLL unlimited you must acquire unlock keys from the software distribution company for the functional groups that you require. In your application, the unlock keys will be implemented by calling the DLL function "setunlockcode(<Unock key>,<Licensee's name>)". Then all functions of the required function groups can be called without timely restriction. A new installation is not necessary!
A license with the required unlock keys can be purchased by filling out the online form or the printable order form, which can be accessed as internet links. You just have to mark the required function groups of the DLL. The prices of the functional groups are listed in the order form.

After the software distribution company received the satisfactory filled in order, we mail you as soon as possible the actual GeoDLL, the desired unlock key, together with the license contract and a detailed invoice stating the Value Added Tax.
The unlock keys are confidential and may not be made accessible in any form to any other persons. The origin of an illegal transmitted full version is identifiable through the personal unlock key!
Use of the unlocked DLL functions
The rights of use of the GeoDLL are individually acquired by you for the required function groups. They are realized through passing the unlock keys by function call to GeoDLL. There are different license types of use for the function groups required by you:
Single license: Functions of the licensed group can be called from a single commercial software application including the application updates and distributed to any number of clients or can be used in a single Internet application.
General license: Functions of the licensed group can be used in any number of commercial software applications including application updates and distributed to any number of clients and they can be used in an unlimited number of Internet applications.
Internal license: Functions of the licensed group can be used only within a single company or enterprise. Distributing to clients and the use in Internet applications under the internal license is not permitted. Applications created with this license must be in context with tasks of development, research and education.

Source code of the geodetic functions
GeoDLL is as a Dynamic Link Library only on WINDOWS systems with 32bit or 64bit architecture executable. That the geodetic functions contained in it can be used on other hardware platforms, GeoDLL is offered also as source code in the programming language C++.
All source codes of GeoDLL are directly compilable and executable under WINDOWS with Microsoft Visual Studio, Version 10 to 17. For the conversion to other platforms or other development environments adjustments in the source code are necessary.
